GRAPHIC NOTATIONS IS A BOOK OF ABSTRACT MUSICAL SCORES: works of visual art with suggestive symbols and closely arranged glyphs. The meaning of these visual figures is intentionally left undefined; each performer is invited to make a realization of the score by communicating its signs according to a personal interpretation. Interpretations may be made instinctively or prepared. Mostly all of the scores consist of computer images (clip art, etc.) spliced and arranged, while some are photographs and some are words. The scores can be played by a solo player or a group of players. Instrumentalists, vocalists, and electronic musicians are welcome. Dancers, performance artists, and performers of other media might interpret the score.
